Topic 16: Diversity, Equity and Inclusion
At Royal De Heus, we believe that diversity, equity, and inclusion are not just moral imperatives; they are vital to our long-term success and our ability to nourish future generations. To truly move forward every day and make a meaningful impact, we must reflect the diverse world we serve. We are committed to fostering a workplace where everyone feels respected, valued, and empowered to thrive. Every colleague, regardless of background, gender, origin, culture, age, sexual orientation, belief, or ability, is welcomed, treated fairly, and allowed to grow. Discrimination, harassment, or bullying have no place at De Heus and are actively addressed.
Creating a safe and inclusive workplace worldwide
Our inclusive culture is grounded in integrity, cooperation, and continuous learning. We recruit, develop, and promote based on talent and performance, ensuring equal opportunities for all. Through open dialogue and transparent practices, including our Speak-Up channels, we create a safe space where people are encouraged to share ideas, voice concerns, and help us grow stronger together.
By embracing the power of diverse teams, we drive innovation, strengthen our performance, and deliver better outcomes for our customers, partners, and society. These commitments are embedded in our business values and apply to every colleague, in every role, across every country where we operate. Together, we are building a more inclusive, equitable, and sustainable future—for our people, our business, and the world we serve.
- Commitment to equal opportunity and fair treatment
- Safe and transparent communication culture
Green goal
Our goal is to treat everyone in the same fair way and offer them equal opportunities and rights from any background. We strive for diversity and inclusion in a broad sense (gender, nationality, thinking styles etc.) at all levels of our organisation. In 2030 we will have 30% female representation in BU management/Global Management positions.
